Risk Assessments

Risk Assessments
One of the most important assignments in the security field

A well-designed security program can help cut thefts and losses and reduce liability claims. While it is often difficult to precisely quantify these types of savings, the cost of the security assessment can pale in comparison to the cost of just one major loss or liability claim.

The Security Risk Assessment process used by Watch Guard 24/7 is one of the most comprehensive in the industry.

We offer practical, proven security recommendations that can easily be understood and implemented. We avoid making broad, generalized recommendations that are difficult to understand and nearly impossible to implement. We also carefully consider the operational and cultural impacts of what we recommend, and avoid suggestions that would be impractical to implement at your facility.

Our reports are very detailed, yet concise and to the point. We include photos that are directly related to specific findings or recommendations.

You will be provided with a prioritized action plan with each report. This plan provides a summary of recommendations and groups them in order of priority. This allows you to do the most important things first, and implement the remaining recommendations later if desired.

Some reasons to consider a Risk Assessment:

  • There is a need to understand the real risks, threats and vulnerabilities and to evaluate the effectiveness of existing and planned security measures.
  • A security loss incident or breach, violence, theft, threat, attack or other compromise has occurred, and there is a need to prevent or mitigate recurrence
  • There is the desire, especially in challenging economic times, to confirm that the security program is as cost effective as it can be.
  • A significant change is occurring, such as a new process or building, significant hiring or lay-offs, acquisition or merger, potential strike or work stoppage, etc.
  • There is a heightened concern over a threat such as terrorism, internal theft, activist attack or workplace violence or threat.
  • To evaluate, benchmark, validate and/or test existing security programs or assessment/audit methodologies, or
  • To a new assessment or audit process that can be self-administered by facility staff on an ongoing basis.
